Hi!
I am Laura - 23 years old web developer from Poland, based in the UK - Edinburgh.
I have recently graduated with First Class Honours from Edinburgh Napier University, having completed my final year in the Web Design & Development course.
I am hard-working and ambitious, motivated to gain new skills, and excited about challenging projects and ideas.
The main area of my interest is front-end development. However - with a little less experience - I am also interested in UX and UI design as well as back-end development.

My skills & interests
Technical Skills
I have the most experience building web apps using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. However, some of my projects were made using Python or WordPress.
I am currently actively learning to build web apps using MERN Stack - MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.
I have experience using GitHub for version control, BootStrap framework, and jQuery library.
I have a little experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
In terms of web design, I feel confident using Photoshop and Figma.

Interpersonal skills
I have experience working with people in various environments on professional, personal, and academic level - both remotely and in person.
I am well-organised, have a great attention to detail, can work both on my own and in a team.
I am also a good communicator, fast learner, and demonstrate a high level of commitment with everything that I do.
Throughout all years of my higher education I was working part-time. I am able to provide references from my previous employers on request.
Interests
Some of my interests include inclusive web development, creative interactive solutions, UX & UI, handicraft, personal development, and healthy lifestyle.
