Hi!
I am Laura - a web developer specialising in fron-end development, based in the UK - Edinburgh.
I hold a First Class Honours degree in Web Design & Development course from Edinburgh Napier University.
I am hard-working and ambitious, motivated to gain new skills, and excited about challenging projects and ideas.
The main area of my interest is front-end development. However - with a little less experience - I am also interested in UX and UI design as well as back-end development.

Technical Skills
I have extensive experience building web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a strong focus on creating responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
In terms of CMS platforms, I am most experienced with Drupal and WordPress, having worked on building and redeveloping complete websites, managing content migrations, and creating reusable templates and components.
I am experienced in Git for version control in collaborative development environments. Working closely with back-end developers and designers, I can translate designs into responsive, user-friendly websites.
In terms of design, I am confident using Figma and Photoshop.
My experience in an agency environment has also given me exposure to managing long-term projects, incorporating ongoing client feedback, maintaining quality across complex sites, and confidently working with existing codebases.

Interpersonal skills
I have experience working with people in various environments on professional, personal, and academic level - both remotely and in person.
I am well-organised, have a great attention to detail, can work both on my own and in a team.
I am also a good communicator, fast learner, and demonstrate a high level of commitment with everything that I do.

Interests
Some of my interests include inclusive web development, creative interactive solutions, UX & UI, handicraft, personal development, and healthy lifestyle. I also love cats!
